There’s Nothing Like a Friendly Face Along the Way…

Here we are with Marnie on the first day of our trip. We only stayed one night but it was still hard to leave the comfy beds and home cooking for life in a van. As we have left stuff behind all the way up the coast, Marnie has sorted it all out. So far Will’s beanie has proved that Australia Post is at its efficient best. It left Tea Gardens a day or two after us but still beat us to the Sunshine Coast.

A friend for riding, swimming and mini golf!

Team Gold Coast.

When the pace was fast and we needed to remember that it’s all about the journey not the destination, we loved hanging out with the Travelling Rowes. – fellow travellers committed to keeping up the tradition of a cup of tea, a meal with good friends and a natter.

Just hanging out with the fam on the Sunshine Coast was a great way to end the school holidays. Nothing like a cousin for exploring, riding or just plain lying on the grass. Thanks Joneses – we loved being part of your family for a few days. We’ll be back for more fun times and July weather like that!

We loved catching up with you guys on your big adventure and wished we were heading in any direction but towards home 😦 We love road trips, especially in the Packard… everyone has an old car story or 5 to tell 🙂
The blog is fantastic!! Keep up the good work and please keep us all posted on Whale sightings in the Hervey Bay breeding grounds. Go safely, the (formerly) Travelling Rowes.

Sounds like a nice way to ease into it all. Lovely to see your smiling faces everyone.
    Love Lozzy

I just thought I would say hello. I am enjoying your adventures already… your blog feels like a modern rendition of The Famous Five – all you need now is a dog! I have just returned from my own adventures in Italy and England this morning and am reluctantly preparing for the start of term tomorrow – you will all feel like your are true explorers once everyone else is back in the normal routines of school. Happy onward travelling! x
