thank you bloggiE for my letter!
hi bloggiE miss spencers having a baby !
Hello
I’m a descendent of the Danker family, which owned and lived on Point Puer and Port Arthur for over 70 years in the 20th century. My mother was born and grew up there.
I don’t live near there and need to use a photo for a Family History assignment I am doing for University.
If you would give me permission, I’d like to use the one looking a across to Point Puer with the Port Arthur building at the right.
Thanks for considering my request
Marguerite Scott
Hi Maguerite,
What an interesting family history! I hope that one day you are able to visit – such an amazing place. You may use our photo – thank you very much for asking permission. All the best with the assignment.
Kate
Thanks
I will, of course, acknowledge you as the source.
Regards
Marguerite Scott
Thank you.
i should add that i know the area well and spent loads of time there as a child. However, i now live at the other end of Tasmania and didn’t have time to visit and take a picture. Thanks again.
