- We chose Dubbo for our trial run – to see some more of our own home state, to visit the zoo, ride bikes and come home quickly if it all went pear-shaped.
But we loved it! The sunshine helped. The animals were in wide open spaces and we could ride around to see them.
It was an 18k day and with the help of strategic ice cream stops, everyone made it back to the camper - despite a few punctures.
There was plenty of netball on the camp courts and plenty of cold nights, tucked up in our cosy camper.
